Check out another review here! An excellent start to 2006, in my opinion.
J. has entered the blogosphere here. You can expect fairly regular updates of cool art!
Since I am about halfway through The Novella That Cannot Be Named, which is due at the end of next week (to be distinguished from The Novel That Cannot Be Named, which is about a third finished and is due at the start of next month, to say nothing of an anthology piece also due next month, and remind me to rethink my deadlines in future) I am obviously desperate for pointless distractions. Thus, I have chosen to follow in the footsteps of writers like Jennifer Crusie and Lee Goldberg. Mostly because I decided it was high time I got myself a digital camera, which means you, the blog reader, can look forward to more visuals with your Megan Crane blog experience in 2006.
This is my office (you may notice that it is the "eat in kitchen" part of the apartment):

And here's a nice close-up of the desk:

Evidently, I thrive on chaos when I'm working. The more mess, the better. It's like being in a little cave! A cave I should get back into, as deadlines wait for no one, and certainly not someone who spent most of the day exploring the "slideshow" function in iPhoto...
More seriously, I wanted to thank everyone who sent me their condolences. Thank you. We miss her.

congrats on the review for EEG :]
I already checked out J.'s blog. Very nice art.
Can't wait to read the Novel and Novella That Cannot Be Named. I really enjoyed Everyone Else's Girl.
Diana
(I'm extraordinarily nosy myself. I've really enjoyed seeing other people's spaces...!)
I just finished EEG and I loved it as much as I loved English as a second language.
I could relate to Meredith in soooo many levels.
Can't wait for your next novel :D
